Welcome to the exclusive 6-part Webinar Series on the MSMEs : The $ 5 Trillion Economy on Enterprise Matters - India's only dedicated show for MSMEs.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019 envisioned making India a USD 5 trillion economy and a global economic powerhouse by 2024-25. He envisions micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to contribute $2 trillion to the country's target of becoming $5 trillion economy by 2024. This expected growth rate would make the country the only major economy of the world to register a double-digit growth amid the coronavirus pandemic.
This years Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also targeted towards giving a big push to infrastructure spending, monetisation of assets, ramping up of capacities in healthcare sector and agriculture sector, among others. These initiatives are aimed at reviving the economy ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemic.
But is this enough ? What does it actually mean ? Or is it just a number ? What is the Ground plan?
These are some of the questions to which we are seeking answers in this webinar series of Enterprise Matters running -up to the International MSME Day on 27th June 2021.
We have endeavoured to bring to you some notable experts and policy makers who have been a part to envisioning this dream and translating it to reality.
